Welcome to Shiloh Plate & Pour
Where Pittsburgh Eats, Drinks & Gathers
In the heart of Mount Washington—just steps away from one of the best skyline views in the country—you’ll find a place that feels both familiar and entirely new. Shiloh Plate & Pour isn’t just another bar and restaurant. It’s a vision brought to life by two lifelong friends and Pittsburgh natives, Joey DeMarco and Brian Hess, who grew up just a few miles from where you're sitting.
This isn’t a corporate concept or a trendy pop-up. It’s a passion project years in the making.
Joey and Brian met over 25 years ago, bonded over a shared love for sports, community, and business, and remained close friends ever since. Over the years, their careers took different paths—Joey in hospitality and nightlife, Brian in business and media—but they always talked about teaming up to build something special in their hometown. In 2024, that opportunity came to life when they had the chance to take over the iconic bar and restaurant formerly known as Redbeards on Shiloh Street.
Rather than start from scratch, they decided to reimagine the space—preserving the spirit of a well-loved neighborhood spot while upgrading the experience across the board. The result? Shiloh Plate & Pour: a place where old memories live on and new traditions begin.
At Shiloh Plate & Pour, the mission is simple: serve great food and drinks in an environment that feels like home. Whether you're grabbing a beer after work, catching a game with friends, or bringing family for a weekend brunch, you’ll find a warm, welcoming vibe and the kind of hospitality only Pittsburgh can deliver.
The menu features chef-inspired takes on classic bar favorites—think juicy burgers, creative wings, loaded fries, and shareable plates, all made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. Behind the bar, you’ll find a curated selection of local craft beers, signature cocktails, and a wine list that pairs perfectly with anything on the menu.
More than just a place to eat and drink, Shiloh Plate & Pour is designed to be a community hub. The TVs are always tuned into Pittsburgh sports, the music keeps the energy up, and you’ll often find live entertainment or events happening throughout the week. Whether it’s your first visit or your fiftieth, there’s always something going on—and always someone to share it with.
And this is just the beginning.
Over the coming months, Joey and Brian are investing in major upgrades, including the construction of a second-level open-air patio with fire pits, glass railings, and sweeping views of the Pittsburgh skyline. The goal? To make Shiloh Plate & Pour one of the most unique and unforgettable dining experiences in the city.
But through all the growth and changes, one thing will never shift: their commitment to the people. Joey and Brian know what it means to create a place where everyone feels like they belong—because they’ve lived it. They’ve worked the long nights, stood behind the bar, cleaned the tables, and welcomed regulars by name. And now, they’re proud to invite you into something they’ve built from the heart.
This is Shiloh Plate & Pour. A new chapter in a familiar place. A celebration of friendship, food, and community. A place where Pittsburgh comes to gather.
So pull up a chair, grab a drink, and stay awhile. 🍻
